Why do you need a Radon Test?

Because if you don't smoke, Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer that's responsible for about 21,000 deaths in the U.S. each year.

In Colorado we have high levels of Radon in our soils. An EPA Map of Colorado shows most of the counties in Colorado as a Zone 1, that indicate average levels greater than 4 picoCuries per liter (pCi/L),  which is the level at which the EPA recommends radon mitigation.

That alone should be reason enough as to why you should test your home for Radon.
Lives depend on it... The lives of your family!

What is Radon?

Radon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless radioactive gas that is produced by the natural radioactive decay of uranium in rock, soil, and water. It can seep into our homes through cracks and openings in floors and crawlspaces. When this happens, Radon becomes part of the air we breathe. Unless you test for it, there is no way of telling how much is present.
